Arrow

Arrow was born in a race barn called Darley America ( http://www.darleyamerica.com ) stationed in Lexington, Kentucky on February 29, 2012 (Just one day before my birthday!). His sire was Elusive Quality and his dam was Tashelka. When I met him he was a three year old 16.3 hand Thoroughbred gelding. He went to raceing school in Aiken, South Carolina in hopes to become a racehorse. His jockey and breaker, Rebekah  Hammond, loved his personality and said he was the sweetest yearling to break. Also he was happy enough to jog around the track while other horses galloped past him. Arrow was known as the galloping elephant because of how big he was for his age! After a couple of years he was "too much of a gentleman" and was sent to Maker's Mark Secretariat Center to be adopted into a good home.
